    Friday night one of my very best friends lost her battle with Lupus and died, she was 64. She took care of me as a babysitter 40 years ago and then watched my girls when they were young. I have been helping her family care for her the last two years but we have always done things as a family. For years even after she was done with my kids I helped with all the other kids she cared for.
    I am lost without her.

    thank you sweet heart, for all of my 44 years Joan was part of my life for 40 of them, I am kind of at a loss as where to go from here but I'll figure it out.

    I am about to head off for a few days... my best friend is having a tumor removed from her pituitary gland and I am going to go and spend some time with her.

    Lost is about how I feel right now.. lost and hopeless to help her.

    How are you doing Manda ? I finally got back.. my friend got out of ICU and the hospital finally. What was supposed to be 1 day in ICU turned into 5 :( It was so hard to leave, but I had to come back for work. It sure took a lot out of me. I guess I did not recognize the stress it put me under. But.. final;ly being back I can now sit down and do the things I need to get done lol. Hope you are doing well. Look forward to hearing from you!
