Ok so things are getting back to normal just a tad. I used a one day extension to finish my finals (got A's on all three) so I could spend the day at the funereal service and the wake afterwards.
Mark went to Dayton for the Ham Festival so the house it kinda quiet right now, the girls are locked in their rooms working on line so it eels like I am all alone.
We went and saw Celtic Woman at the Long beach preforming arts center Thursday before he left it was a great experience.

Friday night one of my very best friends lost her battle with Lupus and died, she was 64. She took care of me as a babysitter 40 years ago and then watched my girls when they were young. I have been helping her family care for her the last two years but we have always done things as a family. For years even after she was done with my kids I helped with all the other kids she cared for.
I am lost without her.

Well I got one paper done (citation/reference page included) now I need to have my smaller (5 page) paper for comparative Justice done by Monday night so I can start the bigger 10 page project on Tuesday and wrap it up with the my organized crime final by the end of the week. So I have 11 days to finish 3 papers....... would someone kust kill me now pleze

So there was nothing really to update for yesterday just school work. Today I am finishing up my paper in OC and turning it in early because I have 3 more papers due by the 29th for finals. I hate the last two weeks of a semester they are crunch weeks and activities and fun with my family is limited. But if the dam phone doesn't stop ringing I'll never get it finished!

Thank God after this there is only 4 more semesters for me thats only 9 months and then 4 years of work will be DONE!
We have so much work to do on the house and Leighann is graduating and Summer is coming I hope I can Squeeze it all in!

We watched "There will be Blood" last night, it was Different.

I got off from work at 11 am about 4 hours early... we were so slow it almost felt like I had Sunday off.
Went to moms, set up her new TV and dvd player and her shower curtain, went to the nursery to look for some containers for my roses and some pompous grass for the for the front yard (we are redoing it) to go in before we pour the gravel. Sound unexciting? Not for me, usually Mark (my husband) does the Sunday thing alone or with our girls because I alway work it but today was kinda normal
So we are gonna watch some movies but tomorrow is the beginning of crunch time or the last two weeks of the semester so I have to push myself extra, I have a 10 page paper and a 5 page paper due in two weeks for CJ I have a final essay exam due at that same time and a smaller paper due in one week along with my regular course work, wont be doing much shooting right now....

Well off to open house, my 14 yr is working in the library then wants to show us her classes. It is her last year in Jr high so she is happy its almost over. Then its back home and hitting the books before going back to work
I made a new friend and I am adding a thumb nail of the coolest drawing she had in her gallery. It reminds me of my 16 yr old.

Too much to do AGAIN!. The cat puked all over the house yesterday, so I guess that was the highlight of my day Oh well still has the potential to be an awesome day I guess I'll go out there and make something of it!

Today is my 5th count it 5th time I am on call with the San Fernando courts to be a witness in the assault of an officer. This has been going on since September of last year and it gets so boring sitting here waiting for a call that never comes .
So I sit afraid to start something around the house that cannot be interrupted, it's BORING

I write a little poetry and a little prose when I am moody enough here is an older piece.

Perfection

What form does perfection wander in, what ruse does it use to evade me?
Perfection comes to me boastfully in many forms, Friend and Foe,
Lover and Child, Leader and Companion.
What guise does it use to deceive me, for it does make claims of
Gracing it’s self upon the being of many in my life, and yet
I am looking as if one’s sense of self depends on it, for this perfection
In these claimants, and as of yet can not see it for myself.
I would so like to think that perfection does not house it’s self on my person, for I would not want to entertain that visitor for long, it begs too much attention, and requires
Too much support, I could not give my time in that fashion.
I would project my energies into learning something new, rather than professing I
Need not acquire assistance in any knowledge, for then there is nothing left to ascertain,
There for would I not be quite busy, keeping my guest….. Perfection, happy for all my days?

I have not slowed down today, but I have been incredibly stupid I broke a vase today trying to shoot a floral, the dam phone has been ringing (mobile and land line) since 8am and I feel like I got almost nothing accomplished. But now I get to go over to the high school and go walking, that will get rid of this tension.
This last week has been filled with fabulous images from everyone here, that has made my week bearable thanks to everyone here.
